I was talking about a player(My ex-teamate) who used to be on the Hartkopt Giants named Mike Gregersen(Age 12) who once almost hit it out of the center field fence coming within less than 3 feet in a pitchers ballpark. Poor guy got tagged out at home because he slipped while going past 2nd base. Two other less talented kids griped about him behind his back and I almost did but I wisely kept my mouth shut because he could of beat me up so bad that I would of been in the wheelchair for the rest of my life if he wanted too.

The woods are now totally trimmed because in the late 1970's there used to be beer and drug parties over there all the time. Yes the woods there were very thick. They cut down some of the trees in the early 1980's as well as the police were watching the park more.

They totally changed the playground which is much more kid friendly now.

Its sad they took down the statue of the late James Potvin and I wish they would put it back up. Why they took it down, I don't know.
